Steve Connell has been in the automotive industry for over 25 years. Starting in sales, continuing on to manager and, eventually General Manager of a Franchised Chevrolet Dealership, it’s safe to assume Steve knows a thing or two about the ‘Car Bidness’ as he likes to call it. Steve joined the JMCAA team in 2013 as our on-the-road sales representative, a job for which he has excelled. Steve resides in Tiptonville, TN with his wife, Martha, and his three children, Parks, Steven, and Chelsea, along with four grandchildren. When not on the road, Steve enjoys hunting, playing golf, and attends First Baptist Church of Tiptonville.
Christi Nethaway worked in customer service for JMCAA from 2010 until 2012 when she then answered the call to serve and added title clerk to her duties. Christi resides in McKenzie, TN with her husband, Claytie, and their two children, Joshua and Mary, a student at Southern College of Optometry. She enjoys gardening and cooking (and according to Thoroughbred Capital Partners co-owner, Tim Perkins, she makes the best home made salsa he has ever eaten)!
Claytie Nethaway has been an integral member of the JMCAA team even prior to opening in 2000, in which he oversaw the construction of the facility and then served on the staff until 2009. In 2012 he returned to the Auction as the lot manager/repo manager. Originally from Michigan, Claytie seldom misses a telecast of his beloved Wolverines, following them on the hardwood and the gridiron. (I know that must hurt the feelings of most Tennesseeans) He also enjoys “tinkering” on golf carts. Claytie is married to JMCAA title clerk, Christi Nethaway, and is the father of two children, Joshua and Mary.
Jullie Stafford’s career in the automotive industry is extensive. She served as the JMCAA title clerk from Opening Day in 2000 until 2012, when she was then promoted to the office manager. When Jullie is not at her son Hunter’s baseball or football games, she enjoys fishing, attending Tennessee Valley Community Church, and spending time with her four grandchildren Raelyn, Clayten, Layne, and Jaxon. She also has two daughters Heather Smith and Tish Jones.
Jackson-Madison County Auto Auction general manager Micky Stafford has been involved in the automobile industry for over twenty years. He served as an auctioneer at JMCAA since Opening Day in 2000, and was elevated to general manager in January of 2010 when Thoroughbred Capital Partners purchased the company. In fact, he has been around an auction of some sort for his entire life. Even as a small child, he worked for his father’s auction company, Nicky Joe Stafford Real Estate & Auction, “holding up” various items for sale every Saturday at estate sales. When not at the Auction, Micky enjoys coaching his son Hunter’s sports teams, playing golf, and raising his nearly twenty Beagle Dogs which he carries swamp rabbit hunting. Micky resides in McKenzie, TN.
